Zusammenfassung

Die computertomografische Angiografie (CT-Angiografie, CTA) der Aorta ist eine der häufigsten durchgeführten CT-Gefäßuntersuchungen, dabei sind die Anforderungen an die Ergebnisqualität sowohl für die Notfalldiagnostik als auch die elektive Untersuchung hoch. Um die geforderte hohe Ergebnisqualität zu erreichen, sind bei Abweichungen zu „Standard-Patientinnen/-Patienten“ oder dem Vorliegen nicht optimaler Untersuchungsbedingungen Anpassungen zur Sicherstellung der Untersuchungsqualität notwendig. In diesem Artikel werden diese Anpassungen sowie die 2 häufigsten Krankheitsbilder als Indikation zur CTA der Aorta dargestellt.

Abstract

Computed tomographic angiography of the aorta is one of the most frequently performed CT vascular examinations, and the requirements for the quality of the results are high for both emergency diagnostics and elective diagnostic examinations. In order to achieve the required high quality of results, adjustments are necessary to ensure the quality of the examination if there are deviations from “standard patients” or if the examination condi­tions are not optimal. This article presents these adaptations as well as the 2 most common pathologies associated with a CTA of the aorta.
